Growing up in the construction industry, with parents focused on property development, has not only given me a huge appreciation for craftsmanship, but has also given me great attention to detail. This has lead me to a having strong interest in sustainability and off-grid housing, using techniques such as passive solar gain, with relation to the sun’s natural light and site specificity.

In the near future I would like to gain experience in a local practice, where I can explore the sustainable living systems used in the south of the UK. After fully qualifying as an architect I would like to develop my own small-scale firm, where I am able to express and exploit my passion for vernacular design and perhaps further my experience with property within this.
